SPORTS BURSARY,2016, Miss ANEEKA BARDSLEY, presented by DR WYNNE EVANS

The Associations is proud to continue the support as a Patron of the Brin Isaac Foundation.
At the recent Foundation dinner Dr Wynne Evans, a former pupil of the School and member of the Association, proudly presented the Stradey Centenary Cup to Miss Aneeka Bardsley.
Aneeka is a gifted local ladies football player who has distinguished herself (and the area) with a list of achievements that many would envy i.e.
1. Swansea City Girls Player of the Year
2. Currently training in the Welsh under 17’s group
3. Runner up in the in the Evening Post awards for Sports Personality.
4. Welsh under 15’s cap
5. Welsh under 16’s cap
6. FIRST EVER girl to play in the Carmarthenshire boys under 15’s league.
7. First girl to play in the school Welsh Cup.
8. Awarded a Special Recognition Award from her local club, Dafen Welfare AFC.
In conversation, Aneeka is a very impressive young lady, an inspiring figure to a lot of the girls in the local clubs and as an Association it will be a pleasure to keep watching her develop and progress to bigger and better things.
