. We wish to thank former pupil Kenneth J Crocker for providing this magazine( September 2021). Mr. Crocker states :- I started in ”the School on the Hill” in 1944 and left in 1949, after gaining matriculation in CWB. My schooldays were enjoyable and the education received much appreciated, Mr. Shaw – the headmaster – knew each boy by name. After National Service I was employed at Trostre Tinplate Works in the Quality Dept., progressing after gaining a Metallurgy qualification to became a Technical Representative visiting customers in UK and the Continent, retiring after 40 years .
Mr. Crocker lives in Llanelli , enjoying life with his wife of 67 years ,and family
